In September, we held a webinar on the L in monitoring, evaluation and learning. We noted that learning is often the least visible part of the trio, yet there are inspiring examples of how it can lead to changes in project and programme strategies and in organisational practices.

‍

Learning does not come easily, though. It needs to start somewhere and build on the information and capacities already in place. Over time, it can grow from an isolated action into a culture of learning and adaptation.

‍

This is why MDF supports actionable, rolling learning agendas. These agendas do not need to be ambitious in the number or scope of their learning questions. Their ambition lies in what they set in motion: the actions and adaptations that follow.
