Mingalabar! MDF Training & Consultancy has been working in Myanmar since 2013 and has established an office in Yangon in 2016. We have a team of 8 qualified international and national trainer/consultants and a strong network of​ freelance consultants we work with on a regular basis. With this team, we support NGOs, UN agencies, and the private sector to improve their performance and create impact.

Organisational Development and Capacity Building

We provide a large range of organisational development and capacity building services, both online and face to face.  

We often start with a Training Needs Analysis or an Organisational Capacity Assessment so that we can design the training or learning trajectory fully tailored to your needs. Our longer-term learning trajectories start with a participatory capacity assessment, followed by a series of training and workshop modules, and we often include hands-on coaching to help implement the learning.

Curriculum development

Being training experts, we are often requested to design training modules on different topics, including trainer’s guides and participant handbooks. Our experience so far includes Train the Trainer modules, Agricultural modules, Community Advocacy modules and a WASH curricula. We can also facilitate capacity assessments to truly understand your learning needs.

Monitoring and Evaluation

We are experienced in M&E support of your projects, programmes, organisations and networks. Examples of M&E support we can provide include:

Implementing partner

We can manage your in-country projects, or co-develop new projects and are currently co-managing a multi-year intervention to support several agricultural training institutes in Myanmar with their curriculum design, didactic capacity and overall organizational effectiveness , financed by Netherlands government support through the Nuffic Orange Knowledge Programme.
