Collecting data by means of Monitoring and Evaluation is one thing. Learning and using data/information for decision taking another. Many organisations build complex data collection systems that produce a wealth of data that do not provide practical answers to immediate learning needs. This leads to “flawed” decision taking processes, more simply: decisions that are not or insufficiently informed. This holds true for decisions at operational as well as policy levels.

Learning agendas will help organisations become more learning oriented and enhance the use of existing MEL systems for improved learning and decision taking.

This masterclass gives you the necessary inputs to develop practical and actionable learning agendas (or improve them) for your own project, programme or organisation.

Before the masterclass you will receive introductory information about learning agendas. During the masterclass you will participate in a mix of learning activities; e.g. introductory presentations, individual and group work, plenary reflections, etc.
