Anniversary of the PMC/ PPMA course
This Autumn we celebrate the 27th anniversary of our Management Course for Development Practitioners (PMC/ PPMA). We have been running this course since MDF's inception in 1984 and to celebrate this we created a photo album and offer discounts when you join the Autumn session. Kees van der Zanden, the current Course Director says:
What is the PMC/ PPMA course about?
Development organisations face many challenges, such as how to:
- Increase focus on outcome and impact;
- Increase team confidence and effectiveness;
- Create and maintain meaningful linkages with other organisations?
This requires new knowledge and corresponding skills in planning, monitoring & evaluation, and in organisational development and communication.
The course provides an attractive balance of an introduction to methods such as Theory of Change and Result Based Monitoring and will stimulate you linking them to your daily activities through: case studies, role plays, excursions (of which one to Brussels and Paris) and learning from each other's experiences. To bring back beautiful memories since the start of the course in 1984 we created the PMC/ PPMA photo album. We invite all PMC/ PPMA Alumni to upload their pictures too!
MDF offers a one-time discount to participants joining the course from 19 Sept - 14 Oct 2011 at our Head Office in Ede. If you sign up together with your colleague you can join for 70% of the course fee! If you come alone and sign up before the 31st of May you get a discount of 15% on the course fee.
