MDF consultants aim to assist in facilitating changes rather than providing blue prints, by developing workable solutions in close consultation with all stakeholders concerned. Our approach to training
All MDF courses also have a few things in common. They are designed by people with ample experience in development co-operation, in all kinds of positions all over the world. They are of a practical nature, rich in visual elements and characterised by participation and interaction. All courses are based on the principles of adult learning and thus consider participants experiences and mutual exchange of experiences as an important vehicle for learning.
In all our training locations MDF guarantees a favourable and conducive learning environment which is carefully safeguarded by the MDF trainers. We are all professionals in our own respective fields, but also professional communicators and facilitators who maintain good and sincere relations with our participants, inside and outside the training room. The rich varieties of experiences available are translated into accessible and hands-on curricula and documents used in the courses. For participants seeking more in-depth, background knowledge of the topics taught at MDF, a rich digital and physical library is at their disposal.
We constantly seek to improve its approaches to interactive, facilitative learning processes. Through a continuous process of exchange of experiences and approaches between our partner organisations, our clients and our individual training participants, MDF staff constantly learns as well. This helps to continually improve and sharpen our approaches and keep our vision of training and learning relevant and useful.
