These courses are offered either as open entry courses in French or as tailor made courses. For more information, please contact us.

We propose you services (training, consultancy, facilitation, coaching) in the following subjects :

INSTITUTIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND ORGANISATIONAL STRENGTHENING (IDOS)

How to understand the changes in your organizational environment?
Which are the answers to provide?
How to identify the points needed for building an organization in order to ensure effective and efficient operation?

Your organisation would like to position itself better in the sector and to develop a consequent strategy? Would tools and support be helpful to your organisation in order to perform such an analysis ?

HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT (HRM)

People are the most valuable asset to an organisation and are crucial in the success or failure of achieving envisaged goals. The ultimate goal of Human Resources management is to ensure that the appropriate number of staff with relevant skills correctly fulfils their tasks and find personal satisfaction in doing so. Development programmes face additional challenges to enable expatriate and local staff to work together in temporary arrangements and in difficult circumstances, requiring a specific human resources management system and approach to deal with continuous changes in policies, expected outputs and with the working environment.

The course aims to equip managers with the specific relational skills for bringing out optimally their staff members’ competencies.

MANAGING FOR DEVELOPMENT RESULTS (MfDR)

Development and international cooperation are constantly under pressure to become more effective and accountable. Consequently, Managing for Development Results has rapidly gained importance.

Knowledge and skills necessary to work within this approach are essential for governments, donors and aid practitioners.
What does this management strategy exactly mean ?
Where to begin ? Whom to involve and where to look for assitance?

OUTCOME MAPPING

How to involve improve the planning of projects and programs in close collaboration with partners, colleagues and stakeholders?
How to decide what to monitor and evaluate?
How to identify, explain and respond to unexpected results?
How to measure social change?

Development processes are multi-dimensional by nature. Therefore, planning, monitoring and evaluation is a challenge. Outcome Mapping provides a non-linear, vision-driven approach with a focus on changes of behaviours, relationships, actions of the people and organisations in the development program.

MONITORING & EVALUATION AND LEARNING

What data do we need to understand the context, outputs, outcome and impact?
Who collects, analyses and processes the data, when and how?
How can M&E be turned into participative learning?
How to design, organize and steer evaluations?

Your organisation is involved in the formulation, managing and/or monitoring of development interventions? You would like to improve your organisational monitoring and evaluation system and use the outcome of your M&E activities for organisational learning?
